A team of 100 European and Chinese designers at Geely Group's R & D Centre in Gothenburg, Sweden is continuously adapting their design strategies and creating exquisite, high-quality vehicles that boast of Sino-European aesthetics and state-of-the-art features. The new design has completely transformed Geely's second generation cars, giving it a very classy and elegant look from every possible angle.
The next generation Geely cars are ahead of their time and have elements of both a modern car and its Chinese roots.
The design of the cars is inspired by Chinese culture and architecture. Its interior is inspired by Chinese stone bridges, while details such as the stitching down the centre of the seat are meant to reflect a traditional Chinese gown.
The dashboard curves reflect the inspiration from a famous Chinese bridge in Hangzhou where Geely has its headquarters.Valuing the 5,000 year history of Chinese visual culture, Horbury incorporates features reflecting the country's architecture, fashion, furniture and landscape in all Geely models.
The Geely Emgrand X7 Sport is elegant, slightly luxurious and has a modern design with traditional connotations. The streamlined exterior design, inspired by a running cheetah, looks energetic, dynamic and eye-catching. The console layout is a combination of hi-tech fascia and high-end soft materials in a luxurious and grand layout.
Other design elements of the Sino-European mix can also be seen in the latest Geely cars that provide more convenience and safety.
