Israeli gymnast says happy to perform at FIG World Cup in Baku

Israeli gymnast Nicol Zelikman says she is happy to participate with her program in Baku.

She today performed in Baku in individual hoop and ball qualification events of the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup and advanced to the hoop finals.

'I am very happy with my performance in the hoop event,' the gymnast told Trend, adding, however, she could have performed better in the ball event.

The first day of the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup kicked off in Baku Apr. 28. The competitions are being held at the National Gymnastics Arena. Ninety-four gymnasts from 21 countries are participating in the event.
