Dr. Jacobowitz is board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and has earned the coveted title of Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Surgeons.
To stay current with the latest advances in his field, Dr. Jacobowitz remains a member of many professional organizations and societies including the Academy of Surgical Research, the American Heart Association Council on Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, and the American College of Chest Physicians, among many others. He provides treatment for a wide range of conditions, including valvular heart disease, coronary heart disease, carotid artery disease, and aortic aneurysms. For his wealth of experience and knowledge, he has been published extensively and is continually active in research. Dr. Jacobowitz attributes his success to his commitment to patient outcome, the desire to remain at the forefront of his field, and encompassing new technical advances.
