Edmond Bilal Band releases its new and very first album on May 12th.

We have put our whole soul and heart in thisopus because we want to produce the most epic albumwith the music we have created during the past year. The music we felt during our past tours.

We have already recorded all the titles of our album.For this new adventure, Edmond Bilal Band is working with a supplier, a booking agent, a designer and a press agent. That is the reason why we need your help, more than ever. Actually, even if we have the chance to work with a lot of supporting associations, we don't have financial support for theproduction and the promotion of this album.

We are lucky to be supported byMusiques de Nuit that provides us the room of the Rocher de Palmerfor the release of our album.Le Canapé Bleu is an important support too, actually this editing label s allowing us to recorded in its studio at Sauveterre-de-Guyenne for free. A special thank you to two associations of Bordeaux, that fght for creation and music live.On the one hand Action Jazz, that has always helped us to organize our events and communicated about them, on the other hand there is Off Assothat organizes hors les murs events that make noise inBordeaux. Finally,Manag'Art, the association on which we can count on everyday and that manage all our production and shows.

Since 2010, the group has performed in several festivals and concert halls, firstly in Aquitaine -Les 24 heures du Swing de Monségur (33),Saint Emilion Jazz Festival (33) then they rapidly conquered France's stages -EdmondBilalBand performs every year since 2012 for sixty shows during the Jazz in Marciac Festival (32)- and the European ones -London, Berlin, Bucarest, San Sebastian (Jazzaldia)…

Those youngjazzmenhave particularly distinguished themselves by winning several awards(Public Choice Prize atJazz à Oloron, PrixAction Jazz, Intrumentalist Prize for Curtis Efoua atLa Défense Jazz Festival, Solist Prize Selmer​ for PaulRobert at​Jazz à St Germain des Pr​é​s​ Festival…).

After having autoproduced4 EP, Edmond Bilal Band intend to produced its firstalbum.That's the reason why, the band has hits the studio at the beginning of the year in order to record Starouarz coming out on May 12th. The album will be released by the label Jazz Family.

This crownfunding will help us to finance the production of our new opus as well as its promotion. Indeed, in June, Edmond Bilal Band will be on tour in France (Sunside, Terrain Vague, Rocher dePalmer …) in order to present you our new poject.

The 6000 euros collected represent 40% of our budget which amounts to 14000 euros. It is distributed as follows:

Post production costs include mixing and mastering. There is also the mechanical reproduction rights that we have to settle at the SDRM in order to press the CD. We have chosen to produce them in Digipack format.

The promotion fees includethe pay due to the artists performing for the first part of our tour, room rental (ConnexionLive), transportation costs and defraying fees.

Communication costs include the remuneration of our press agent (CdZ) and of our graphic designer (Enzo Pascual) who will carry out the graphic design of the project. To that, we must add the costs of printing flyers, posters and making videos.

In addition, Ulule recovers 8% of the money collected for the management of this campaign.
