Return welcomed

Report from Chittagong adds: Industrialists and businessmen have termed return of the airline as reopening of the door to the East and hoped the flights will have a positive impact on investment and business, as before.

Sources recalled that Thai Airways started flights to Chittagong, also three flights a week, in 2003. At that time it was the only airline operating to the port city and people of the area - specially industrialists, businessmen, students and service holders - became dependent on Thai Airways' flights.

Flying to Suvarnabhumi International Airport and availing 74 onward connections, the airline would offer a convenient option for the travellers of Chittagong region to fly without coming to Dhaka.
