QSTec launches polysilicon in Qatar


(MENAFN) Qatar Solar Techs (QSTec), a pioneering solar firm proclaimed that it has produced its first polysilicon at its 8.000 metric tons per annum manufacturing facility in Qatar.

Meanwhile, QSTec aims to expand to more than 50.000 metric tons per annum has commenced ops at its Ras Laffan Industrial City site.

Accordingly, the first polysilicon produced from the facility in Qatar shows a major milestone for their firm and has paved the way for a solar manufacturing base to be established amid the area.

Recently, the facility is moving from the construction phase towards full scale production and it's an incredibly exciting time for it and the region's solar industry.
