Kuwait's inflation rate grows by 3.2pct in Feb


(MENAFN) Kuwait's consumer price index increased to 3.22 percent year on year in February this year, released by Kuwait's Central Statistical Bureau.

However, on a month-on-month basis, the Gulf nation's inflation dropped by 0.07 percent, while consumer prices were up in three categories and down in one.

In addition, food and beverage prices fell to reach 0.26 percent year on year and 0.58 percent on a monthly basis.

In January, the country's inflation was up 3.3 percent compared to the same period in 2016, but was down 0.07 percent compared to the previous month.
