(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) WASHINGTON, March 26 (KUNA) -- The US-led coalition against the so-called Islamic State (IS) launched 30 air strikes "consisting of 93 engagements" in Syria and Iraq Saturday, the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) said in its daily report.
In Syria, 18 strikes hit IS targets near Abu Kamal, Ar Raqqah, Dayr Az Zawr, and Tabqah, the report showed.
In Iraq, 12 strikes hit IS targets near Al Qaim, Bayji, Kirkuk, Mosul, Rawah, and Tal Afar, the report said. (end) ys.hb
