Rabat, 24 Jumada II 1438 H corresponding to 23 March 2017 SPA--The Arab Parliamentary Union (APU) confirmed that the two operations of Determination Storm and Renewal of Hope of Arab coalition to support the legitimate government in Yemen against Al-Houthi militias and ousted Saleh's forces were compatible with regional and international conventions, especially Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations and the UN Security Council resolutions on the situations in Yemen, particularly the resolution No. 2216 under Chapter VII to restore the legitimacy from usurped Al-Houthi militias.
In a statement issued yesterday at the end of its 24th session held in Rabat, Morocco, APU highly praised international and Arab coalition's efforts to resolve the Yemeni crisis in accordance with UN resolutions.
