(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, March 22 (Petra) -- The Palestinian government condemned on Wednesday Israeli occupation army shelling of Rafah city in southern Gaza Strip.
An Israeli tank fired a shell at Palestinians near the Rafah border area, killing Yousef Abu Adra, 18, and injuring two others.
Palestinian government spokesman, Tareq Rishmawi, described Israel's 10-year-old blockade on Gaza and its attacks against the Palestinian people there as a violation of international humanitarian law.
He urged the international community to put an end to Israel's systematic aggression against the Palestinian people and to force it to end its blockade.
