At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Secretary General of National Committee for Narcotics Control (NCNC), Assistant General Director of General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) for Preventive Affairs and Chairman of Board of Director of Project of National Committee for Combating Drugs (NEBRAS), Abdul-Ilah bin Mohammed Al-Sharif awarded a Commemorative Shield to the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi in recognition for his patronizing of this occasion.
On behalf of Minister Dr. Altoraifi, the Commemorative Shield was handed over to the President of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah Al-Hussein.
Moreover, President of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah Al-Hussein was also awarded a Commemorative Shield by Al-Sharif for the Agency's cooperation with NEBRAS for organizing this symposium.
On his part, SPA President presented a Commemorative Shield to GDNC General Director, Major General Ahmed bin Saadi Al-Zahrani.
Then, the guests, accompanied by the SPA President and his deputy Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Awadh toured the Agency's building and were briefed on its media sections such as sections of international and local news editing; section of foreign languages; section of photography and artistic production; section of information technology and section of studies and research.
Participants in the symposium included representatives of government and private universities in all regions of the Kingdom; NEBRAS General Secretariat; GDNC; Naif Arab University for Security Sciences; General Directorate of National Guard; Public Security; Ministry of Health; Saudi Customs; King Fahd Security College and General Investigation Directorate.
