Morocco's OCP, Guinea ink fertilizer agreement

(MENAFN) Morocco's Office Cherifien des Phosphates, the globe's main phosphate exporter, inked a deal with Guinea to supply the West African nation with its phosphate fertilizer needs.

Additionally, large Moroccan firms, involving banks and insurers have been investing in sub-Saharan Africa, while OCP has already inked deals with other African firms.

The Moroccan company will supply Guinea with its whole 2017 phosphate fertilizer needs, estimated at 100.000 tons.

Recently, Morocco rejoined the African Union, a body it left decades again over the Western Sahara dispute.
