WHO WE ARE
Skubes is in the process of becoming the Internet's top educational community/website for children in kindergarten through the 12th grade. Skubes is currently creating educational videos for children in kindergarten through the 12th grade, and such videos feature accredited teachers actually teaching the subject matter according to the national academic standards. The initial videos, available in English, cover math and language arts, with additional subjects and languages to be added later. Our goal is to have all the lessons that are taught in K-12 education available through our video library. Skubes has also created tools for teachers and students for use in assignments and data gathering.

Our video library is accessible through the Internet via apps, tablet computers, smartphones and Apple TV. Additionally, the videos are being packaged with other educational materials and sold as interactive educational ibooks, which are currently available through Apple's iBook store.

WHERE WE ARE
As of April 2015 Skubes has nearly 1,500 lesson videos created for math and language arts. We currently have a sales team of 6 covering Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, and North Carolina. Since August of 2014 we've added nearly 175,000 students to our site and our current outstanding invoices total over $400k, with a additional $300k possible from Texas in August.

EXPENSES
Our current situation has us in a cart and horse scenario as most school systems take up to 90 days to pay their invoices but we are accommodating their students now. This has led to cost increases that we need to be cover ahead of receiving payments from our clients. Plus we have new developments in our web tools to be implemented over the summer that we desire to fund in order to have them ready for the 2015 -2016 school year.

EXIT STRATEGIE
Think of us as Lynda.com for K thru 12 education.

Products / Services iBooks

Skubes is an approved iBook vendor, which means we have books for sale on Apple's iBook library. Currently we have 8 titles, which are math books that have our videos embedded.

Individual Subscriptions

Individual subscriptions to Skubes.com are sold on our site. The subscription rate is either $9.99 a month or $89.99 for a year. This subscription gives access to all the videos in our library, along with the search functions and bookmarking capabilities to each subscriber. This has been a popular subscription for homeschool families.

Schools and School districts

Skubes has begun to grow as a resource in schools and school districts. We've seen 65% growth in this business sector since August of 2015 and we expect it to double over the next 12 months. We have a sales team who cover Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, Texas. Schools and school districts subscribe to our video library and the teacher tools inside for 1 year a contract. In many cases these schools and school districts can use Title 1 funds to pay for Skubes, as Skubes is Title 1 compliant. Title 1 funds are given to schools who's school population is predominantly under the poverty line.

Leased Content/Assets

We've been approached by several larger companies who aggregate content, package it and lease it to schools and school districts. Typically they will wrap up the content in very impressive software that the schools will lease as part of a package deal. We are currently talking with 1 larger content aggregator who is interested in leasing our video content for use in their content library.
