Afghan Asylum Seekers Deported from Germany Arrive in Kabul

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) QNA) - The third group of Afghan asylum seekers, whose asylum bids were declined and were deported from Germany, arrived Thursday morning in Kabul.
The group of 18 Afghan asylum seekers, took off from Munich Airport late Wednesday.
Eyewitnesses said one of the 18 deportees on board seemed ill or weak and needed assistance in disembarking from the plane, according to the (dpa).
The deportations have come under fire from opposition parties and rights groups, who argue that much of Afghanistan is not safe for return.
In the past, the majority of Afghans whose asylum bids were declined were allowed to remain in Germany due to the security threat in their country. But Berlin decided last year to designate parts of Afghanistan safe for return. (QNA)
