Chinese visitors to New Zealand projects to slow

(MENAFN) Growth in the number of Chinese visitors to New Zealand over the Chinese New Year Holiday this year is projected to flatten off.

Additionally, this year the number of Chinese New Year holidaymakers was projected to be almost the same as 2016, with almost 30.000 arriving over the two weeks.

Accordingly, New Zealand experienced rapid increase in recent years of more than 40 percent; therefore a slowdown in growth can be projected.

Moreover, there are still likely to be 27.000 to 33.000 visitors for the two weeks of Chinese New Year, offering great chances for tourism operators.
