Kuwait considering to construct nuclear power plant coordination with Russia

KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait is considering the possibility of constructing a nuclear power plant in coordination with Russia, reports Annahar daily.

The Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak disclosed that his country and Kuwait has been discussing the possibility of constructing a nuclear power plant and cooperating in the field natural gas and petroleum services.

In an interview with the stateowned Russian-language news channel 'Russia 24', Minister Novak said Russia and Kuwait have discussed several projects, affi rming, 'Russia has high hopes over the possibility of constructing a nuclear power plant and bolstering ties in aspects related to natural gas and petroleum services'.
