Oman's Galfar Co. records OMR5.78mn loss

(MENAFN) Galfar Engineering and Contracting, Oman's pioneering contracting firm posted a net loss of OMR5.78mn in 2016, compared to a loss of OMR28.56mn in 2015.
Moreover, this involves a loss of OMR3.15mn on an investment in International Water Treatment, which was disclosed by the firm in Dec last year.
In addition, whole income of the group reached OMR340.07mn in 2016, against OMR345.23mn for the previous year.
Meanwhile, total expenses of the firm were OMR340.32mn, compared to OMR344.72mn in 2015.
