Vietnam intends to develop southern intl airport


(MENAFN) The Vietnamese government has ordered Ho Chi Minh City authorities to improve Tan Son Nhat international airports serving capacity to reach 40 to 50 million passengers a year.

Moreover, the government has chosen the city's plan which will launch taxiways as well as renew the current north runway.

On the other hand, the airports authorities said the airport at this moment is overloaded, serving 28 million passengers annually.

Accordingly, through the plan the airport will be improved in three years at investment of 19.700 billion Vietnamese dong.
