Four men arrested after '1m euro greyhound' theft

(MENAFN) Four men have been arrested after a stolen greyhound, believed to worth up to 1m euros in stud fees, was found by Irish police.

The greyhound, Clares Rocket, was taken from its trainer's kennels in Golden, County Tipperary, sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning.

The theft of the champion racer has sparked comparisons with the IRA kidnap of the Irish racehorse Shergar in 1983.

However, Clares Rocket has "found safe and well", police confirmed.
