KAMCO supports Generation Six of The Protégés


(MENAFNEditorial) KAMCO Investment Company, a leading investment company with one of the largest AUMs in the region, supported Generation Six of The Protégés. KAMCO participated in the Job Shop event hosted by Kuwait Projects Company (Holding) - KIPCO, under the patronage of Sheikha Al Zain Al Sabah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, which was one of several organized events to support The Protégés and the local youth as a whole. The event consisted of various organized phases, which included the judging panel, press conference, and outdoor exhibition of KIPCO group companies. The event took place in the outdoor area next to KIPCO Tower where KAMCO set up its booth to attract young talented individuals while providing them with apt descriptions of the company’s’ scope of work and services. Representatives from KAMCO’s Human Resources Department greeted attendees at the event and addressed inquiries regarding the different opportunities offered by the company. Students were also informed about the different internship programs organized by KAMCO that could help prepare them for their future careers. Ms. Danah Al Jasem, Vice President and Head of the Marketing Department at KAMCO said, “We would like to congratulate the Generation Six of The Protégés on their successful and thoughtful accomplishment. Continuously supporting and participating in youth development programs such as The Protégés positively influences and develops the upcoming generation to exercise their abilities to better society as a whole. These initiatives taken by the youth mentorship program are in line with our corporate and personal goals to enhance and promote education and youth empowerment.” Ms. Al Jasem continued to say that it is crucial for companies to implement and monitor their social duties that will contribute to achieving a more sustainable economy. She also said that this is one of the various activities within KAMCO’s sustainable annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) agenda focusing primarily on health, education and the environment, thereby positively influencing our society. During the judging panel ceremony, Generation Six of The Protégés presented their project, “Waseelah”, a platform that strives to raise awareness that all talents are influential, and to motivate the general public to express themselves through various forms of art. The press conference included a strategic partnership renewal between The Protégés and KIPCO, a brief overview of The Protégés’ experience and a brief on the Generation Six Project: “Waseelah”.
