Indian energy firm to start work on Australia's coal mine

(MENAFN) Indian energy giant Adani has got an approval for building Australia's largest coal mine at almost 30 km and a temporary 300-bed construction camp for the state's Carmichael mine.

Accordingly, a minimum number of between 2.000 and 4.000 are being employed for the project, while the approvals set the USD15.6bn coal and rail project on track.

Moreover, environmental groups were ready to protest against the project at an organized meeting between Adani Group chairman and Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
