Vietnam borrows USD17.4bn in 11 months


(MENAFN) Vietnam has borrowed a total of almost USD17.4bn from both local and global sources in the Jan-Nov period of this year.

Through the cited period, the government had closed a total of 34 foreign loan contracts, collectively worth USD5.1bn.

Recently, domestic debt, raised via almost 30 bonds issuances reached USD12.3bn.

Meanwhile, the bond-issued capital was 43.8 percent higher than the same period of 2015, while the bonds had an average term of more than 8.72 years.
