Jordanian King and Slovenian President discuss relations

AMMAN, 5th December, 2016 (WAM) -- King Abdullah II of Jordan and President Borut Pahor of Slovenia on Sunday underlined the importance of boosting ties in economic, trade and investment fields between Jordan and Slovenia.

According to the Petra News Agency, the talks focused on cooperation in the sectors of alternative and renewable energy, information technology, water, medical tourism, agriculture, and military industries.

The meeting also touched on a number of Middle East issues, namely the Syrian crisis and the war on terrorism. The two leaders talked about regional and international efforts to fight terrorism, as King Abdullah emphasised that applying a holistic approach is critical to countering terrorism, which threatens everybody in the Middle East and the world.
