Japan's Sumitomo finishes CPV power plant in Morocco


(MENAFN) Japan's Sumitomo Elect Industries proclaimed that it has finished the building of a 1MW concentrator photovoltaic power generation plant in Morocco.

On the other hand, the firm had been working on the project facility since June based on the agreement with the Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy (Masen).

Additionally, the Sumitomo CPV systems involve high-efficiency Fresnel-lens based concentrator modules installed on its dual axis tracking systems.

Accordingly, the firm proclaimed that following the successful commencement of the Moroccan project aim to promote its CPV business globally.
