ANTANANARIVO, MADAGASCAR, October 21, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Malagasy Government is actively seeking a Strategic Partner to strengthen and develop the Air Madagascar Group. IOS Partners, Inc. a premier aviation and transaction advisory company with the support of TroyAvi Aviation Consultants has been appointed as transaction advisor to materialize this project, which received funding from the World Bank.

Air Madagascar's vision is to enhance the services provided as the leading domestic carrier; strengthen and expand its position as a Regional carrier, serving the Vanilla Islands and Eastern African markets; and provide increased connectivity to the major long haul markets, through a cooperation with a Strategic Partner. The priority will be to achieve this vision through reliable and frequent services, with superior customer satisfaction.

Madagascar provides significant potential for tourism and economic development, blessed by an amazing flora and fauna, unique ecosystems and pristine beaches, as well as a dynamic economy with tremendous competitive advantages for the provision of industrial and tertiary services.

The process initiated calls for an ambitious timeline aimed at selecting a Strategic Partner before the end of 2016.

Air Madagascar currently serves 27 destinations, with 6 aircraft and is the national airline of Madagascar, and the Group controls several subsidiaries providing key aeronautical and ancillary services to a large range of clients, related to the transportation and tourism industries.
