(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Pakistan captain Misbah misses ton The second day of the second Test match was an action replay of the first day at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
West Indies started well with early wickets but then Pakistan dominated the rest of the session.
Eventually, the Pakistanis were all out for 452 with captain Misbah-ul Haq adding just six runs to his overnight score of 90.
For the West Indies, fast bowler ShannonGabriel took five for 96, his first five-wicket haul in an innings.
At the tea break, West Indies were 27/0 in 11 overs with Draren Bravo (15) and Lenon Johnson (11) at the crease.
Earlier, Pakistan took the score to 401 for six wickets at lunch break.
Pakistan had started the day on 304 for 4 from 84 overs and were looking to consolidate their position but West Indies made good use of the new ball.
Inside the first nine overs of the day, West Indies dismissed both Misbah and Yasir Shah.
Misbah couldn't reach three-figure mark.
In the 89th over Gabriel struck. He got Misbah, who shuffled across the wicket but missed and was adjudged leg-before for 96 runs. This was his fourth failure in nervous 90s.
Yasir (23) played well and looked in control of the situation until he got out to Jason Holder.
It was a pull shot that he failed to control and ended up in Devendra Bishoo's hands.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfraz Ahmed (56,) all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz (26) and tailender Sohail Khan (26) then helped the team reach the 450 mark.
