The Special Envoy of Russian President for Middle East and Africa stressed the importance of communication between the leadership of the two countries, pointing to the recent meeting between Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in New York, and the meeting between Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense and Russian President Vladimir Putin during the Group of twenty summit in China.
He praised the level of mutual confidence between the two countries, expressing his country's appreciation for the Kingdom's very influential role in the Group of Twenty, at the level of all international relations, in the United Nations and other levels, stressing the importance of cooperation between the two countries on pressing issues and crises in the Middle East and North Africa regions.
