UAE University and UNDP to issue report on human development

AL AIN, 27th September, 2016 (WAM) -- The United Arab Emirates University, UAEU, has agreed a cooperation project with the United Nations Development Programme, UNDP, to work on the issuance of a report on human development in the fields of education, health and work-force for the UAE, in 2017.

The programme, signed by Dr. Mohamed Al-Baili, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at UAEU, and Frode Mauring, UNDP Resident Representative in the UAE, contributes to serve the UAE Vision 2021 and Abu Dhabi Government Vision 2030.

A Higher Steering Committee, which consists of representatives from a variety of government sectors, will oversee the project plans and facilitate the access of information and statistics for the research team.
