UAE official and Belarusian minister discuss cooperation

MINSK, 25th September, 2016 (WAM) -- Ibrahim Abdul Malik Mohammed, Secretary-General of the UAE Public Authority for Youth and Sports Welfare, has met with Alexander Shamko, Minister of Sport and Tourism of Belarus, and discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations in the field of sports.

During the meeting, which was part of the authority's delegation visit to the Republic of Belarus, the two parties discussed issues of common concern in sports to achieve the interest of both countries.

Mr. Mohammed commended the strong relations between the two countries and the importance of taking advantage of their capabilities in various areas, emphasising a focus on the field of sports tourism, which contributes to the revitalisation of domestic and foreign tourism, saying that the signing of Memoranda of Cooperation and the holding of meetings contributes to the development of peace and friendship between all countries.
