(MENAFN) According to Pentagon, Russian fighter plane flew within about 3 meters of one of its aircrafts over the black sea.
While Russia's Defense Ministry stated that the US plane had been approaching Russian territory and the SU-27 pilots had adhered to the international rules.
Pentagon spokesman Capt Jeff Davis said: "These actions have the potential to unnecessarily escalate tensions, and could result in a miscalculation or accident."
