Gulf Oil Middle East sets up distribution outlet in Salalah

Gulf Oil Middle East has set up a distribution outlet in Salalah keeping in mind Dhofar's location, connectivity and a trading centre, which has the capacity to cater major business activities.

The launch event marked the presence of senior officials of Gulf Oil Middle East, businessmen from Dhofar and other stakeholders. Shahin al Arabi Global Trading has partnered with Gulf Oil as a distribution arm of the company.

K R Venkataraman, CEO, Gulf Oil Middle East Limited, said that the company's presence in Salalah is marked by Dhofar's strength as an important trading centre in Oman and the company's need to strengthen distribution network. Gulf Oil, according to him, has a strong presence in GCC, Jordan, Iraq, Pakistan and in pockets of Africa.

Venkataraman finds Oman a good business destination with a stable government, good banking support and an educated workforce. He hopes to do good business in Salalah by occupying the mind space of the consumer and the end user as a reputed international brand offering a one-stop shop for all their lubrication needs.

Gurpreet, CEO, Shahin al Arabi Global Trading, offered the best possible service to the stakeholders and offered 24/7 service to the clients. Present on the occasion were Gulf Oil officials Prakash Rangaraj, deputy general manager sales, UAE, Santosh Menon, GM marine GCC, and S Sunderam, Asst Vice-president technical services.
