DUBAI, 5th September, 2016 (WAM) -- The Board of Directors of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, MRHE, headed by Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, has approved the names of 1,017 citizens entitled to housing loans, grants and financial assistance.

Of these approvals, 118 were for building loans, three for ready-built houses, 887 for residential plot approvals, eight grant approvals for financial assistance, and one approval for government housing. Committees rejected 12 applications for failing to meet the conditions.

The move follows the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to provide a decent living standard for citizens.

Sami Abdulla Gargash, CEO of MRHE, said that the approval of applications for housing aid reflects the keenness of the leadership to provide a decent living standard for citizens, with the aim of ensuring a stable family life.

He explained that the establishment continues to study applications of registered citizens and update them ahead of referral to the relevant committees, which in turn submit them the Board of Directors for approval. The MRHE sends text messages to beneficiaries to inform them about final approvals.
