Iraqi PM orders removal of arms depots out of cities


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, Sept 4 (KUNA) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abadi Sunday ordered removal of arms depots outside of cities, two days after a depot east of Baghdad exploded killing three people.

Al-Abadi instructed the joint operations command to remove military depots outside of cities and keep them in military camps in Baghdad and other governorates, a government statement said.

A big arms depot of the popular mobilization forces exploded two days ago killing three persons and wounded many other civilians. The blast also damaged nearby properties and cars. (end) ahh.bs
