5.7 degree earthquake hits New Zealand

WELLINGTON , 29 Dhu-AlQa'dah, 1437,September 01, 2016, SPA -- An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale, hit "North Island" of New Zealand on Thursday morning. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
"Geo Net" website to monitor earthquakes in the country indicated that the epicenter of the quake is 100 kilometers off the east coast near the small town of "T Ararua" at a depth of 25 kilometers.
The authorities said that there is no risk of the occurrence of a tsunami.
