(MENAFN) Imports of Iranian oil by four main buyers in Asia in July grew to 61.1 percent, marking the biggest percentage gain since April 2014.
Moreover, the country is regaining market share at a faster pace than analysts predicted since sanctions were lifted in Jan.
Meanwhile, S. Korea, Japan, China and India imported 1.64mn barrels per day (bpd) in July.
In addition, Japan imports jumped by 61.8 percent from a year earlier to 256.651 bpd last month, while imports by S. Korea climbed more than fourfold last month.
