Forest Fire Contained after Ravaging 7 Hectares of Vegetation Northern Morocco


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) A fire which broke out in a forest in the northern region of 'Chefchaouen' was contained after ravaging 7 hectares, according to the High Commission for water and forests and the fight against desertification.

The fire, which broke out Sunday in the Bab Taza Commune, was extinguished thanks to the use of land technical means and a Canadair aircraft despite extreme heat in the region, the source added.
