Jordan- Customs agents foil drug smuggling attempt


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug. 31 (Petra)--Customs agents at the Queen Alia International Airport foiled, in cooperation with security agencies, an attempt to smuggle 20.4 million narcotic pills.

The smuggled pills were seized during an inspection of a medication shipment that arrived from an Asian country.

The operation comes less than 48 hours after Aqaba Customs agents aborted an attempt to smuggle 5.6 million Captagon pills,
