Samsung to stop delivering Galaxy Note 7 in S. Korea

(MENAFN) Samsung Electronics Co. had paused delivers of its Galaxy Note 7 phablet to S. Korean mobile carriers after a series of reports at home and abroad that a few of the devices were exploding while charging.

According to officials, this stoppage deliveries to the three mobile carriers; SK Telecom Co., KT Group, and LG Uplus Corp. started earlier this week.

However, an official at Samsung Electronics refused to confirm or deny that the deliveries of the phablet were paused.
