Pakistan to tighten banking ties with Iran


(MENAFN) IRNA reported on Monday that Pakistani Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan in a meeting with the Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Honardoost underlined his country's willingness to boost the mutual trade ties with Iran.

During the meeting held in Pakistani Capital, Dastgir promised that his government will seek the removal of barriers to tighten banking relations and to reach the USD5b bilateral trade volume.

However, the Islamic Republic stated that they are waiting the Pakistani final answer to finalize the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with his country.
