(MENAFN) Iran signed seven new basic deals with foreign oil firms, as stated managing director of the National Iranian Oil Co.
Moreover, the deals to study Iranian oilfields were signed with companies involving Austria OMV, France Total, Germany Wintershall and others.
The country needed foreign investment to repair and upgrade its oil and gas fields and is planning to transfer technology to its oil industry.
