Qatar Haj Mission medical unit declares readiness


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Makkah: Head of the Medical Unit of the Qatari Haj Mission, Dr Khalid Abdul Hadi has announced the readiness of medical services for the Haj Mission, which will provide the necessary health care services for pilgrims from Qatar in Makkah and the holy sites.

Speaking at a press conference held yesterday at the headquarters of the Qatari Haj Mission, Dr Abdul Hadi said the Medical unit is ready to provide medical services to the pilgrims of Qatar and meet all the health needs including treatment, ambulance services and integrated care.

Qatar has provided all the facilities and equipment to provide high-level health services for the pilgrims of the country to enable them to perform Haj in the best conditions, he added.

Dr Hadi said that the medical staff of the unit consists of 27 doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and paramedics who will work to provide an excellent level of health care for pilgrims from Qatar in Makkah and the holy sites.
