Russian President to meet Saudi Deputy CP on Sunday

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MOSCOW, Aug 30 (KUNA) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin is to hold talks with Deputy Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman Al Saudi on the sidelines of the G-20 summit, due in Hangzhou city, southeast China, on September 3.

The talks will focus on the Syrian crisis and bilateral and regional issues, including the economic and commercial cooperation, the Russian Interfax news agency reported Tuesday, citing Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

Though Moscow and Riyadh hold different views on how to resolve the Syrian crisis, this issue will feature prominently in the Sunday talks, Ushakov pointed out.

President Putin will also meet Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi to discuss the Palestinian-Israeli peace process and the situation in Libya.

He will also discuss with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan the normalization of the bilateral relations and the Turkish Stream, a USD multi-billion natural gas pipeline running from Southern Russian Krasnodar Region across the Black Sea to Turkish Thrace, the Russian senior official added.
