Two sea outfall projects in Oman to be ready by year-end

(MENAFN) Almost 85 percent of the two sea outfall projects in Darsait and Al Athabiba have been achieved and the project will be finished by the end of this year.

Moreover, Haya Water firm proclaimed that the two project will help to discharge mixed raw sewage and storm water among storm and cyclones.

In addition, the main objective of both projects is to confirm that the discharges cause no environmental degradation of the coastal region.

The company in 2010 appointed Halcrow to carry out feasibility studies and enhance designs for emergency marine outfall at two prime locations.
