Benslimane to Convene Sporting Commission's President to Discuss Morocco's Failure at Rio 2016


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Hosni Benslimane, the President of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, will convene the 13 Moroccan Sporting Commission's presidents on Thursday, in order to discuss Morocco's failure at the Rio 2016 Olympics Games.

Noureddine Benabdenbi, the General Secretary and Treasurer of the Moroccan Olympic Committee, told local media that there wereMoroccan presidents and officials who had not fulfilled their tasks properly during the preparations for Rio 2016.

Benabdenbi noted that the Moroccan Olympic committee had offered everything to Moroccan athletes to participate in the Olympic Games in order to win as many medals as possible.

In the end, Boxer Mohammed Rabii was the only Moroccan participant who managed to qualify for the semi-finals and won a bronze medal in the men's welterweight 69-kg.
