Iran to settle deal with France Airbus


(MENAFN) Iran aims to finalize the agreement with France Airbus after August, which was sealed through President Hassan Rouhani trip to Paris in Jan.

Accordingly, Tehran is predicted to acquire 118 civil aircraft from Airbus worth USD25bn, which started importing aircraft from France by the end of 2016.

On the other hand, the deal will depend on Airbus getting US export licenses since more than 10 percent of the parts for the planes made in the US.

Meanwhile, Iran also signed an MOU with Boeing and both are waiting for OFAC allowance to finish the agreement.
