Bomb explodes at institute of criminology in Belgium, no casualties


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BRUSSELS, Aug 29 (KUNA) -- A bomb exploded at the National Institute of Criminology in a suburb of Brussels last night but without causing any casualties.

Belgium media reported that a car drove to the site in Neder-Over-Heembeek, a suburb of Brussels, and one or more persons got out of the vehicle and detonated the explosives.

The Brussels public prosecutor confirmed that there has been an explosion and that the investigation into the cause is underway.

The National Institute of Criminology is an important place because analysis linked to solve crimes are done here, noted the reports. (end) nk.tg
