(MENAFN- Morocco World News) The trial court of Marrakech ordered the prosecution of a nightclub manager and three people after a brawl in the city of Marrakech.
The manager was accused by the trial court of 'selling alcohol to Muslims,' reported the French-language news website Le360 The incident took place Wednesday night at the 'Podium 'nightclub, a subsidiary of 'Les Idrissides' Hotel. Sources told le360 that two bouncers engaged in a violent fight with a client who was under the influence of alcohol. The news website, which does not reveal the causes of the brawl nor the conditions leading to it, points out that the client is a fugitive from the justice. As to the outcome of the fight, the two bouncers had minor injuries and were taken to Ibn Toufail hospital in Marrakech. However, the client needed surgery at the level of his right ear, which he underwent in a private clinic. After the incident, the police arrested the nightclub manager and the trial court of Marrakech prosecuted him for 'selling alcohol to Muslims.' The court also prosecuted the two bouncers and the client, who are under temporary release for health reasons.
