Anheuser-Busch InBev's megamerger with SABMiller PLC could lead to thousands of job losses in coming years, according to documents related to the transaction, reports the Wall Street Journal.
The company said that around 3% of the total workforce of the combined group could be laid off, but said 'job reductions will be implemented gradually.'

An attempt to break into an activist's iPhone has triggered a global upgrade of Apple's mobile operating system, the LA Times reports.
The spyware took advantage of three previously undisclosed weaknesses in Apple's mobile operating system to take control of iPhone devices, according to San Francisco-based smartphone security company Lookout and Internet watchdog group Citizen Lab.
Israeli company NSO Group was said to be the author of the spyware reports.
