Israeli forces erect military barriers in Hebron


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, Aug.28 (Petra) -- Israeli occupation forces early Sunday erected military barriers at the entrances of refugee camps, towns and villages of Hebron governorate south of West Bank, blocking Palestinian students and teachers from reaching schools.

The Palestinian Directorate of Education said in a statement that Israeli soldiers erected a number of military barriers at the entrance of Al-Fawar refugee camp, searched the citizens vehicles, checked their IDs thus delaying movement of students and teacher in their first scholastic year.

Israeli troops have also set up another barrier at the entrance of Kharsa village southwest of Hebron and began searching female students obstructing them from reaching their school.
