UAE ambassador meets officials in Tasmania

CANBERRA, 28th August, 2016 (WAM) -- The UAE Ambassador to Australia, Dr. Obaid Al Hairi Salem Al Ketbi, met here today with Elise Nicole Arche, Speaker of the House of Assembly in the Australian state of Tasmania, and other members of the House.

He discussed with them ways to deepen economic, commercial and cultural ties between the UAE and the State of Tasmania, as well as sharing expertise in the fields of science, innovation, agriculture and food security.

Ambassador Al Ketbi also met with the Chief Justice of Tasmania Alan Blow and officials at the University of Tasmania.
